Who is Behind Midway?
This is me, Matthieu Guyonnet-Duluc. I immigrated to Canada from France more than 15 years ago. The idea for Midway came when I realized that it was difficult to find a destination where my best friend and I can easily meet. It was a time-consuming task filled with a lot of trials and errors. Navigating flight schedules, prices and cumbersome websites.
Traditional travel apps are there to sell you airline tickets, so they make the assumption that you already have the destination and the dates in mind. There are also tools that help you organize group travel (sharing expenses, build an itinerary, etc) but they also don't help you find where to go in the first place.

Not yet. Currently, Midway helps you discover destinations. Flight booking is coming soon.
Which airports are supported?
We currently cover the 100 busiest airports in each region: North America, Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania—600 airports in total. Flight data covers 2026 and is updated once a month.
